Daniel Padilla on Wednesday dismissed people who overreacted to his viral birthday video, where he was seen belting out curse words on some part of the lyrics of the Rivermaya hit song "Hinahanap-Hanap Kita."

During the actor's 29th birthday celebration in Tanauan, Batangas, Padilla generated buzz online when videos of him singing a curse word in the song circulated: "Pati lupang pinagsamahan mukha yatang nilimot na ng puso mong biglang lumisan. At ngayon, pu$4^6!^@ may kapiling ka nang iba."

Speaking to reporters during an event, Daniel asked netizens to "relax," requesting them not to cause any issues as he was just enjoying himself at the time.

"Ang OA ng mga tao. Masyadong OA ang mga tao. Nag-eenjoy lang ako. Relax," he said.
